Durham Railway

Due to the location of the pile lines, it was agreed that leader rig installation was not an option on this small contract at Durham Railway Station. Therefore, conventional piling methods were used to carry out the installation of the 42no 9.0m long steel sheet piles forming the two retaining walls for the new staircase.

The works were carried out within programme and the Client, Durham County Council, were impressed with the successful completion of the works and our excellent attitude towards Health and Safety on this restricted site.
