VolkerGround Engineering has bought a new ABI 16/20B mobilram piling rig which represents an investment of £1 million.
VolkerGround Engineering makes £1 million investment

The new rig will broaden the company's in-house capabilities allowing its workforce to install much larger piles. This addition to its plant fleet means that VolkerGround Engineering now has installation capabilities in each sector of the market.

The rig, supplied by ABI, also boosts the company's capability in specialist areas including soil stabilisation, the formation of impermeable walls for land reclamation and secant piling.

VolkerGround Engineering's new piling rig, which is adapted to run on biodegradable oils, was put straight in to use at an Environment Agency project in Deptford, south London.
