VolkerGround Engineering appointed to deliver a Temporary Sea Defence at Sizewell C
We’re proud to share that we have been appointed by our valued client the Civil Works Alliance (CWA) to deliver a Temporary Sea Defence (TSD) wall at the Sizewell C project.
The structure – comprising interlocking steel sheet and box piles – will span an impressive 784 linear metres and total approximately 12,000 tonnes upon completion.
Our team mobilised to site in May, deploying our TM22 leader rig (pictured) and LTR1100 telescopic crawler crane to commence installation.
This project highlights our continued commitment to delivering complex, large-scale infrastructure solutions in challenging coastal environments. We're excited to play a key role in supporting this nationally significant energy project.
